CE-25A is a relatively small aircraft that holds at most 19 people.
Maximum height inside the cabin is 1620mm , which determined a very small space for aisle, seat and armrest.

Design goals：CE-25A Electric Aircraft（released in 2023，Shanghai）
Profile of users & pets
Starting from pet’s space, we first designed a pet case that would match the rest part.
First Aid model, anti-viberation structure and ventilation system is equipped and well-organized in the right size.
When the seat is deployed, there is ample storage space for carry-on luggage.
Primarily，we drew layouts on paper sheet and discuss which is best for CE-25，but soon we realized that's not persuasive enough，so we chose tools like grasshopper and planfiner（a AI tool in generating layouts）.
Since the layout can only accommodate 6-8 people, our target would be mid / high end users & their pets.
Big pets like golden retriever & other animal breed that might be harzadous would not allowed on PETRIUM.
Along with are some default infrastructure on a regular plane,
To convey a sense of lightweight, calm & luxury, we chose thinner sheet structure as the design language rather than bulky blocks.
A screen is integrated in the tabletop, controlling almost everything in the cabin, including lights, air ventilation, window tint and seats.
Seats can slide on rails, be “stowed” when unoccupied, leaving enough aisle width to pass through with a pet casel in hand.
Wraparound headrests and seats provide a degree of privacy in a small cabin
Seats can rotate between 0-30 degrees, enable users to avoid excessive eye contact, and have easy access to the pet section.
A auto pet feeder is embedded in the cockpit, as well as a pet leash that can be locked at any length from 30-120 cm.
Indicators on the porthole will show the different states of the pet depending on the observations from the camera on the pet case that is plugged into the multimodal AI.
Built-in physical locking mechanism ensures that the kennel is securely fixed in place during bumps in mid-flight and reduces pet stress.
Indicator light illuminates when lock is engaged.
For the CMF design, we chose the blue color system that is visible to pets,
and overall use of dark tones with warm lighting to give pets a sense of security
The small cabin of the CE-25A posed a number of design challenges, but it is worth celebrating the fact that we were able to solve them with PETRIUM to make a memorable trip with your pet.
